| Community leader and long-serving volunteer Raymond J. Martino is the recipient of Mount Wachusett Community College's 2016 Service Above Self Award. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions within the 29 cities and towns that make up the college's service area.|

Welcome to the Graduation 2016 public page. This page is intended to provide you with all of the information you will need to enjoy the college's 51st commencement ceremony.
Answers to the Most Frequently Asked Questions
The MWCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is sponsoring the 12th annual "Project Graduation" in conjunction with the 2016 Commencement ceremony. All graduates and their guests are requested to bring a non-perishable food item to the Commencement rehearsal or ceremony. Receptacles will be located at the Fitness Center and all donations will be given to the Gardner Community Action Committee in Gardner at the conclusion of the event.
All graduating students are welcome to the Alumni table tomorrow for free swag, including "I <3 MWCC" glasses, and "MWCC ALUMNI" t-shirts. To get a t-shirt, you must post to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #MWCC2016 and show it to us at the table. We'll also be taking lots of photos, so bring your best smile!
If you can't be at the graduation, view it live! The ceremony is being streamed live in its entirety by MWCC at mwcc.edu/livetv. Also, enjoy some pictures from previous graduations and messages to this year's graduates. If you're on the go, you can follow MWCC on Twitter for live updates of the event from your mobile device!
Parking lot E (see directions and parking below) will be reserved for those with disabilities and will be available for parking beginning an hour before commencement. Disability seating is available for those guests requiring it. You will be able to request disability seating when ordering your Commencement tickets. Guests who need seating accommodations will be issued a ticket labeled "Disability Seating". Ushers will show you to your reserved seats.
The commencement ceremony will take place in the Fitness & Wellness Center, located in the Vietnam Veterans Physical Education Complex at the Gardner Campus. Parking lot E, near the loading dock, and across from the Fitness and Wellness Center, will be reserved for guests with disabilities. It will be closed the entire day of commencement until one hour before the ceremony. Click here for complete directions to the college and a parking map.
Immediately following the commencement ceremony, the college will host a reception for graduates, their family, friends, and college faculty and staff. The reception is located in the South Cafeteria where refreshments will be served. You can enter the raffle to win "The Voice" Vivitar Karaoke System, sponsored by MWCC Alumni Relations Office. There is no charge for the reception.
Windmill Florist & Gifts will be located outside of the Fitness and Wellness Center with assorted fresh cut flowers and assorted rose bouquets available for purchase.
In case of inclement weather they will be set up inside the Fitness and Wellness Center by the vending area to the left as you walk in.
They will also be set up the following evening for the Nurses Pinning Ceremony on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
The official commencement photographer (Commencement Photos, Inc.) will be taking pictures of each graduate at the ceremony and will contact each graduate directly regarding the purchase of prints.
